Adding a patch just for, "PLAYER 2 IT'S YOUR TURN!" would be a waste of time.
That said with the board game you can play as many characters as you want, and with other players, but there's nothing stopping you from playing hotseat, and luckily they don't really need to add anything for that. This basically uses the rules that the one player uses 4 characters like it were 4 people playing at once.
